Brief info

Agus "Timbil" Tri Budiarto is a farmer, scientist, and yoga master. He graduated in Chemical Engineering from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Yogyakarta. Since 2003, he has been active with local communities, applying his citizen science practice to address environmental issues and contribute to the biopunk movement in Yogyakarta.
In 2010, he was one of the early initiators of IB:SC, a collaborative art and science project focused on ethanol fermentation in partnership with the Microbiology Laboratory at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. This collaboration earned him the Transmediale award in 2011. He later co-founded Lifepatch, a community-based organization working at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
